I made this for a forum avatar; the finished version has (gasp!) an actual background, but it's 100x100 pixels. At 100x100, you can't tell that I can't do backgrounds. ;)

So here's Savik again, and the raccoon is Footpad, another Brother Bear fan character I made for a roleplay. He's based on the raccoon bandits in Brother Bear 2; he's one of their gang, but kind of a failure.

Footpad is not his real name. I just haven't figured out what his real name is. c.c

It looks like he's pointing at my signature, doesn't it? XD

Thanks! :3 I use a hard round brush in Photoshop, usually 5 pixels, and work at a high resolution. I did this one at just the size it is here, 800x600 at 200ppi; usually I'd work at three times that, but since this was for an avatar, detail wasn't as important. I don't have a very steady hand, so I build up the lines with many short, quick strokes. It can be time consuming, but I'm getting faster with practice, and the results are worth it. ^^ I hope that answers your question. :3
